A little new year positivity

SPREADING SOME NEW YEAR POSITIVITY

Well January hasn’t got off to the best of starts has it! It has to get better, and with the vaccination programme gathering pace, things are taking a more positive upturn at least. Positivity has been our January buzz word at Unity Group. As an already difficult month, we’ve been on a mission to try and lift spirits both within our team and in the wider community just recently.

With the aim of raising a few smiles, we thought we’d bring you a round-up of our recent highlights! We hope that despite covid and all of the challenges we’re facing, that 2021 has started positively for you too.

A FESTIVE SUCCESS

Drum roll please…. We’re thrilled to reveal that our Festive Door competition was a great success. Thank you to everyone who got involved. For those who missed the news… Pauline Vaughan’s beautiful festive toy soldier door was a clear winner.

She’s now waiting patiently for her new composite door to be fitted. We’ll be sharing more news on that soon – including a new initiative off the back of the campaign’s success.

GREAT COMMUNITY SPIRIT

Education is of utmost important to us as a business. And in these difficult times we’re doing what we can to help children overcome the challenges of covid, so that they can continue to flourish while home learning.

Earlier in the month our very smiley Director, Oliver Townsend, met up with equally smiley Head Master, Dave Potter, at Churchdown Academy High School. As you can see our Chromebook donation was very much appreciated!

AND FINALLY, OUR FIRST EVER VIDEO…

Earlier in December we were also privileged to have our first video and photo shoot for JCK Joinery. The results were really impressive as you can see and we’ve had great feedback so far.

We’ve so much in store for these photos and we we can’t wait to start seeing them in situ.
