Designed to your specification and incorporating the most advanced technical features, you can look forward to all of this from a JCK Joinery Secured By Design timber door:

U-values
The development of thermal performance timber doorsets has become important to assist with improving energy efficiency in the home and commercial buildings. At JCK we strive to continue to lower the U-values of our doorsets.
We currently have some of the lowest U-value timber doorsets in the UK, with ratings below 1.4 W/m2k. Our Technical department has the technology to calculate U-values for the most bespoke doorsets.
Our thermally efficient doorsets are manufactured in accordance with EN ISO 10077 – 2:2007.
Chain of Custody timber
At JCK Joinery we can supply our products in a variety of timbers which come from sustainable sources and Chain of Custody (CoC) certification either with the PEFC™ or FSC®* Badge.

Our hardware comes in many colours, swatches available below.
Hardware
To complement your door, we supply a comprehensive range of hardware. Most of the ironmongery is available with the following finishes; stainless steel, polished steel, satin anodized aluminum, chrome, brass, black, white and bronze.
For a standard doorset the ironmongery would include:
- A single or multipoint lock
- 5 pin euro cylinder
- Handles
- Security hinges and fire accessory options available
- Door viewer
- Security chain
If you require a style that isn’t within our current range we would be more than happy to source it for you.
Access Control Doorsets
We can also manufacture made to measure access control doorsets. Our access control doorsets are available with Secured by Design (SBD) PAS24:2016 and can accommodate a wide variety of applications:
- Automatic opening doorsets for communal entrances to public buildings, care homes, offices and for access for disabled users
- Power assisted doorsets for disabled persons homes or living accommodation.
- Electronic access doors (free of hardwiring) for applications such as hotel bedrooms, computer suites
- Access control doors can be activated in various ways: key fob, smart card, keypad, remote sensor

Side and top lights
To complement any doorset we offer side screens to match any door design, style or finish. Our side screens can be boarded, paneled or glazed with fixed or opening windows. All side screen variations can be certified by Secured by Design (SBD) PAS24:2016 and fire rated. Further options and details upon request.
Our options for side panels and side and top lights Include:
Glazed Panels: You can have glazed side panels to match or complement the glazing already used on your door.
Solid panels
You could have solid panels with no glazing.
Mix and match
You can also mix and match your choice so that a solid front door can have a glazed side panel and vice versa.
Side panels
Side panels are frames which sit either side of your door and are used if your property requires a wider fitted entrance space. They provide an attractive alternative to traditional side and top light window frames. They are handcrafted to match or complement your door.
Door side & top lights
An attractive solution for wider entrances which also allows more natural light to shine into your home.
Glazing
Glazing is available in various options; the standard glazing for our doorsets and side screens use 6.4 laminate on the external side for security, and 4mm toughened K on the internal side for safety. For fire rated doors and screens, JCK Joinery has both internal and external fire glass. The glass can be clear or wired, with integrity and insulation values of 30-60-minute fire ratings available.
