Introducing Nina Murray

Contracts Administrator

say hello to Nina Murray, Contracts Administrator, who has recently joined Unity Door’s Supply & Fit Department.

There can’t be many things better than starting a new month with a long sunny weekend off. We hope you all had a good Easter. We certainly made the most of it and trust you did too!

Now we’re back and raring to get back into the swing of things.

This month, we’ve so much to share with you, not least the fact that we’ve two new starters! This week we’ll be profiling them, their strengths, and the talents they’re bringing to the Unity Doors team.

So, to kick things off, please say hello to Nina Murray, Contracts Administrator, who has recently joined Unity Door’s Supply & Fit Department.

She can tell you more about herself, in her own words!

WHEN DID YOU BEGIN WITH UNITY DOORS?

I joined Unity Doors back in February, and since I began it’s been incredibly busy, yet I love every minute of it.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR ROLE…

I’m part of the Supply and Fit team, responsible for looking after huge contracts nationwide, for the supply and fit of composite doors. I’m really pleased to discover just how diverse the mix of clients is. No two days are the same. My principle role is to assist the Contracts Director, and Contracts Managers with the numerous administrative tasks involved in the supply and fit process. Just as each day is different, no two contracts are the same, therefore my role is diverse, challenging and extremely rewarding.

WHAT IS YOUR KEY STRENGTH/S?

I pride myself on the support I can provide and see myself as an important act link between the Unity Doors office and operations teams. My commitment and enthusiasm ensure I deliver my best.

WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE YOU JOINED THE TEAM?

I’ve actually come from a wedding and events background, which may seem strange now moving across to composite doors! However, that’s not the case, many of the administrative tasks that are part of my role, were a daily part of what I did in wedding and events – plus you have to be super organised, which is clearly a transferable and important skill! I wanted a change and a fresh challenge and the team have been amazing in welcoming me.

TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF WE MAY NOT KNOW…

I love to be busy.  Busy at work, busy at home – my 3 children look after that!  Endless football training and matches fill up my Saturdays, not to mention days out at gymnastic competitions. I try to keep fit, although I am partial to a takeaway of a weekend.
